Room 237: from intriguing to sexy to shocking to horrifying. Now that's horror done right. I love Abra, she's such a good kid with a great child actor. And idk it's just refreshing to see a super powered good character being played by a person of color. Just imagine how powerful John Coffey would have been. Again! Not every story needs a follow-up or sequels, or spin-off. I never understood why Danny didn't just roll down the stairs. lol. It deserves a good rating because besides its slightly average story(imo) they still managed to make me watch the full 3 hours in one sitting without feeling bored for a minute and enjoying it. Good camera work too. Every single second of this entire movie was scary.

I thought she was gonna do a smooth criminal when the spotlight lit. Smashes door Fits head to the broken door Hello There! Victim: GENERAL KENOBI. Doctor Sleep was an alright book. I loved the villain group and I can't wait to see how they are done in this movie, it looks like Rose has her hat. This is a book I never thought would be turned into a movie since it's all about Dan's power and it gets a little confusing. They'll definitely make changes which I don't mind as long as they are faithful to the story. TO BE HOENST I'm not very confident that this movie will be good, but I'm still gonna watch it. (also there's a lot of people who are shocked there's a sequel to The Shining like Doctor Sleep has been out for 6 years.

I honestly did not think it would be this good. Maybe because I did not put any expectations, but overall it was great. I did not get bored for a second. And the linking between both movies is plus. Recommend. At 1:19 all I saw was Grandad throwing Jasmine down the stairs and the swarm of Stinkmeaner clones just going in for the kill. I intepretted Jack being in the photo means he became a ghost in the Overlook hotel, this is my favorite horror movie, made me love horror ever since I watched it as a kid. Thing is, people are probably gonna dislike it as it won't be like The Shining. The problem here is that The Shining film differs vastly from the novel, and even King hismelf didn't like what Kubrick changed. Doctor Sleep's not going to be The Shining movie, and I doubt that it will try to be. The Shining film was a masterpiece and that is undeniable, but it was not accurate to the source material and Doctor Sleep, I think, will combine elements of source material and film which will be super interesting to watch.

This movie makes no sense. It sucks. So long I pulled out Instagram and looked at hoe stories. Hood rat hoes make better movies with an iPhone. She wasn't acting during the Here's Johnny! scene. She was in sheer terror, that was real screaming and real horrified shrilling.

The photo at the end = Keep 'em guessing. Its interesting that they are keeping it connected to Kubrick's shining Even though King hated it. Rose in the hat reminds of shang tsung in mortal kombat who eats souls. Got the New Years Eve Ball invitation. Like lucid dreaming. When this film first came out, I didn't think it was that frightening. But it lodged in the back of my brain and grew fangs over the years. So now, in a complete reversal of the way these things usually work, it scares the crap out of me. The only other film that has grown more unnerving the more times I've seen it is David Fincher's Se7en.

Do yourself a favour and go watch it. One of the best movies of 2019. Enjoy. 1980: “Heres Johnny!” 2019: “Hello there!”. First off I'm a huge King fan. Sadly Doc Sleep is one I have not read. The movie was very good though. Slow in the beginning. Right before the half way mark it picked up and became very entertaining and creepy. Dose a good job being it's own thing and not a sequal. McGregor is a very good adult Danny. Had a nice ending as well. Overall even better than shining. Although shining had great performances and very good cinematography, and was well made, this kept me more entertained, and was creepier. Very good enjoyable follow up. You don't need to have seen shining to see this.
